Good Afternoon:

We have a praise report:

·        Thank you so much to all the mighty prayer warriors of CWC during my recent surgery and recovery time.  I am gaining strength every day and feeling much better.  I am so thankful for my church family and all the love and support I've received!  Love and hugs to all of you!

Requests

Good Afternoon:

We have some praises and needs for prayer:

• We praise the Lord for the cooler temperatures!  We still need rain though.  We ask for prayer for those who are in central Texas with the wildfires.  Many have had their homes destroyed and over 25,000 acres have been destroyed in Bastrop County east of Austin.  Pray for the fire fighters and emergency personnel who are trying to contain this fire.  The whole state of Texas needs rain.    

 

Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make melody to our God on the lyre!  He covers the heavens with clouds;
He prepares rain for the earth; he makes grass grow on the hills. He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry.  His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love. Psalm 147:7-11

 

Praise

Good Afternoon:

We have a Praise!

• I just received a call from Pastor.  His heart is has been beating irregularly and he saw a cardiologist this morning.  After all the tests, they determined that the irregular beat is all that is going on and they will treat that with medication.  He has nothing else wrong and will be back in the office tomorrow.  Praise the Lord for His goodness. 

 

Thank you for praying for Pastor and all the needs that come through. 

 

I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.  My soul will boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.  Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.  Psalm 34:1-3

Praise and Update

We have a praise and update:

• Brandee Williams received a lung transplant on Sunday.  She is doing much better and is being weaned off her vent.  Please continue to pray for her recovery.  Her family extends their thanks for all the prayers for her.  God is good!!

Requests

Good Afternoon:

We have some needs today:

• Please pray for Linda Nall who will be having surgery soon and for her complete healing and recovery.
• Please continue to pray for Willy Lopez and parents, Florentino and Kimberly.  Willy will be having surgery tomorrow to remove a brain tumor.  Pray also for his doctors and other caregivers. 
• Betty Savage--health

Good afternoon all,

                I have a couple of prayer requests.

 

First, Margie and I have a great niece named Layla who is 2 years old and saw a specialist this morning because she has been having trouble with a swollen knee since Thanksgiving which has gotten progressively worse.  The specialist saw her this morning and thinks that she either has rheumatoid arthritis or a form of leukemia.  She ran tests and they are supposed to get the results back this afternoon.  The doctor is very concerned and told them to be prepared to bring Layla to the hospital immediately once they received the results of the tests back.  The family is really overwhelmed right now.  Layla’s mom, Niki delivered her second child yesterday and while that was going on a family across the hall gave birth to a stillborn little girl.  So, secondly, please pray for this unknown family who is dealing with the loss of their precious baby girl.  Thank you in advance for your prayers.  Blessings, PT
